Budding wine connoisseurs and experienced wine collectors can come together to extend their very own Barossa wine collection at our biennial Barossa Wine Chapters Auction. The dramatic live auction – featuring some of the region’s rarest wines – will take place on Friday 21 April, 2017 at the iconic Château Tanunda, with wines auctioned by Andrew Caillard, MW.

Our venue for the 2017 Barossa Wine Chapters Auction and Lunch is Chateau Tanunda.

Entrenched in history, this iconic bluestone winery and vineyard property was built in the late 1880s, and is home to Australia’s largest and oldest wine Château and some of the earliest plantings of vines in Barossa. After falling into disrepair, the property was purchased by the Geber family in 1998 and lovingly restored to its former glory.

During the 2017 Barossa Vintage Festival, the spectacular heritage listed building will host our 2nd Barossa Wine Chapters Auction lunch, showcasing the very best of Barossa’s produce over three courses, matched with the finest and rarest Barossa wines.
